Ok, it looks like things went smoothly over the weekend, with nothing crazy going on as far as the smoke test goes. So, I've hit the button that sends out all the surveys. Now you can jump in, make any changes you need to, add any of the add-ons you would like to, and pay for your shipping.
IMPORTANT THING #1
If you want to get the slipcase for Volumes 4-6, you will need to adjust your pledge level BEFORE you start on the rest of your survey. Just follow the steps in the graphic above and you'll be all good. We can still make adjustments after, but it's a lot easier if you can do it before you click the Get Started button.
IMPORTANT THING #2
If you want to get the reprint of the slipcase for Volumes 1-3, that's an Add-On and you can buy that during the Add-On part of the survey.
IMPORTANT THING #3
The way this works is that we won't be charging any cards (credit or debit) until October 1st, so you have a bit of time to wait until your cards are charged. If you have any questions about this, or would prefer you card to be charged earlier, please let me know via a message here on Kickstarter.

Thank you all for your patience. I was hoping to have posted this update on Monday, but things have changed a little bit in how the BackerKit pledge manager is set up and how it goes through the review process. Regardless, we are ready now to start the pledge manager portion of this campaign!
SMOKE TEST
Today, I'll send out what is called a smoke test. Approximately 5% of backers will receive their BackerKit surveys so that they can go through and check their pledges, adjust their levels if they wish, select their specific add-ons, and pay for their shipping. By doing this with a randomly selected 5% we can see if there are any issues that I need to address before the surveys go out to everyone else. Better to catch a problem with 50 backers than with over 1,000!
I'm not anticipating any issues, and assuming it all goes smoothly, I'll send out the rest of the surveys on Monday (along with another update to cover any particular items of note).
Adjusting Pledge Levels (and the Slipcase for Volumes 4-6)
Changing your pledge level on BackerKit is a pretty straightforward process, but it does need to be done FIRST, before you go too far into the rest of the process. It is important to note here that the Slipcase for Volumes 4-6 is ONLY available as part of either the $95 or $125 pledge levels. You will not find it as an Add-On. If you want it and haven't already pledged at either of those levels, you will need to change your level. To do so, simply follow the steps in the graphic below:
The Slipcase for Volumes 1-3
The Slipcase for the first three Volumes has been made available as an Add-On, and you can select that as you go through the process. My apologies for the potential confusion, but there wasn't a simpler way to make this happen.

And there we have it, folks.
Together, we've successfully funded the second installment in THE ART OF... series. Volumes 4-6 (already well underway) are going to be edited, laid out, edited again, and sent off to the printers over the course of the next five months or so. Then it's the fun time of waiting for the printers, shipping books to fulfillment hubs, and then getting them all out to you wonderful people.
BUT FIRST, we have the BackerKit pledge manager to sort out and the surveys to send to you for your completion (this will be where you get to choose the specific add-ons you want and pay for shipping etc), but more on that in the next few weeks. My aim will be to have the pledge manager ready to go by June 24th at the latest, but possibly earlier. Keep you eyes on the updates for information on that.
I think all that remains at the moment is to pass on the thanks of the team for this installment - Chris Suhre, Tommie Soule, Seyni N'diaye, and myself. We've been working hard and will continue to do so to bring you some quality publications (but we're going to take a nap first, before jumping back in to the books). Thank you for all of you support, your enthusiasm, your shares/likes/comments, and your faith in us. We won't let you down!

Eight more pages to Volume 4! On to the final two stretch goals!

Welcome to all of our new backers, and thank you to everyone who has joined us so far!
Overnight we passed another stretch goal, which is fantastic, and we'll be adding eight more pages to Chris Suhre's book. Very exciting, and I know that Chris already has plans for those pages!
Tommie and Seyni would also like to see their books expand, and we're not too far from making that happen too. We have about 9 hours to make that a reality! I ask that you all share the project today, particularly in the various Discord groups that you might be a part of, the ones where our public social media posts won't reach. With a great final day surge we can get there.
Slipcases and beyond!
Just a reminder too, that both slipcases have been unlocked. If you would like a sexy slipcase for Volumes 4-6 you will need to adjust your pledge level to one of the two pledge levels that include it ($95 or $125).
If you would like to get the Volumes 1-3 slipcase, you'll need to include this as an Add-On ($15).
Because we are using BackerKit as our pledge manager, and I haven't set up Add-Ons specifically in KS, you'll need to add the amount your would like to increase your pledge by here, and when we open up the pledge manager in about three weeks, you'll see that money there as a credit that you can then spend on the particular item you would like.

This project is a bit of an odd one. Something that hasn't really been done on this scale before, for our glorious hobby/artistic pursuit of painting tiny sculptures. 32 Hours to Go! Can we expand these books?

And there we go! Another stretch goal unlocked overnight, and we will now be able to reprint the Slipcase for Volumes 1-3. If you missed out on this last year and would like to add it to your collection, you can do so by increasing your pledge total by $15. In the BackerKit pledge manager after the campaign, you'll be able to specify that this is how you would like to allocate this $15.
To increase your pledge total (for any or all of the Add-Ons), you can follow the steps in Update #11.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Slipcase for Volumes 4-6 is already unlocked (just in-case anyone missed it) and is available in either the $95 All 3 Books and Slipcase pledge level, and the $125 All 3 Books, Slipcase, and PDFs pledge level.
And now we're on to unlocking something that our authors are very keen to tackle, the expansion of each book. We have stretch goals to unlock a new, 8-page section for each book that will take them to 104-page, hardback books, ensuring that they have the chance to fit even more of their thoughts and eye candy into their respective volumes.
